KMA had organised an In-Company training for Naval Officers on the 8th February 2010.
Faculty: Mr.M.A.S Menon
Topic: MIDLIFE CRISIS
This was well received by the all the participants. Mr. Menon spoke on how many middle aged adults experience major life events that can cause a period of psychological stress or depression such as the death of a loved one, or a career setback.He also mentioned that midlife crisis could be caused by aging itself, or aging in combination with changes, problems or regrets over:
Ø Work or career
Ø Spousal relationships
Ø Maturation of children
Ø Aging or death of parents
Ø Physical changes associated with aging
Midlife crisis seem to affect men and women differently.
We received a raving response from the participants.
Comments from one of the participants: "Today we had the first session by Mr. MAS Menon at the Naval Base. It was a resounding scuccess to say the least. The feedback from the participents was very encouraging. Even though the topic was a difficult one to speak on, infrount of a young group of officers, Mr Menon did very well and kept everyone involved. We enjoyed the 'A', 'B' 'C's on brands of cars and would be looking forward to hearing about the one on brands of liquour.. This session lays down the foundation for many more future ventures.
